Rob Tomlinson is truly at the height of patient safety.
In collaboration with the AfPP, Rob is undertaking further research on safety and quality outcomes relating to the use of ‘Ten Thousand Feet’.
So far all Rob’s work has been done in his own time and at his own expense, and fashioned around clinical duties and family time.
The act of attending his last meeting, just hours after completing a week of night duty, was surely not for the faint-hearted.
I know for a fact that I certainly would have struggled to attain any vocabularific coherence under similar circumstances!
Rob now has the distinction of being probably the most poignant catalyst for the prevention of Never Events in the NHS due to his work on ‘Ten Thousand Feet’, placing him on track to be the worlds most authoritative and leading resource on the subject in no time at al!
I must congratulate the AfPP for having the wisdom and foresight to help Rob take this next fortuitous step;
And I further extend my appreciation to the AfPP’s Adrian Jones and Brian Smith for their continued guidance and exceptional support in working with Rob to advance worlds best practice on the local and international stage.
You have my deepest gratitude.
